Summer Break
Our Summer Break is here; there will be no Troop activities until August. Please enjoy your summer time and recharge for a great 2016-2017 Scouting year, to commence in August when school resumes. We have a great group going to Summer Camp this year – 15 Scouts and 5 Adults in total. For the Scouts participating in Merit Badge and Brownsea Island programs, the final schedules have been emailed to you; please let me know ASAP if you see any issues with your schedule. There are no merit
Fundraising
Car Wash – The Troop has done some, but not much fundraising this year, so we have scheduled a Car Wash for THIS SATURDAY, May 21st, from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Please plan to come out (arrive) and leave as your schedule permits, during that period. The Car Wash will be in the parking lot next
Court of Honor – June 6th
Our Court of Honor has been moved to be a true “end of the year” event. It will be held on the very last Scout Meeting for this school year, June 6th. We will only hold the Court of Honor (no other Troop activities/meetings), followed by a Pot Luck fellowship dinner. The COH is planned

We help Troop Leadership elections recently, and this coming Monday (May 23rd), we are intending to hold OA elections as well a Patrol Leadership elections for the Fall. Once those positions are filled, the Scoutmaster will work with the Troop and Patrol Leadership on remaining Troop Positions of Responsibility (e.g., Scribe, Historian, Webmaster, Bugler, etc.)
Troop Track
You may have received an invitation to Troop Track. We will be working hard between now and the Fall to get each Scout’s records fully implemented in Troop Track, including ranks, merit badges (completes and partials), awards, etc., which will help the adult leaders and parents keep track of the Scouts’ advancements and where they
