A flyer with additional information is located towards the bottom of the Council webpage.

NOTE – there are 13 morning classes to choose from; you will need to change the selection above the list to show at least 20 to see them all, or click the ‘NEXT’ at the bottom of the Morning list. Similarly, there are 11 afternoon classes.

Scouts may take One Morning Class and One Afternoon Class -OR- One All Day Class.

Please also note the following statement included on the Council Merit Badge Academy webpage:
***Prerequisites may be modified at a later date. Many badges will have requirements that must be completed at a time other than at the Merit Badge Academy***

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

1. Registration must be made by the Troop, so you need to let me know that your Scout wants to go.

2. Cost is $20, if paid on time. It will be due to the Troop at the Monday, March 28th meeting if you are registered in the initial grouping. If you register later, please pay the Troop at the next meeting.

3. Please provide a 1st Choice AND a 2nd Choice for each Merit Badge slot, in case your first choice is already closed (“sold out).

4. Transportation to St. Leo University is not provided by the Troop. You will need to drive to St. Leo, or potentially arrange carpools with other Scout families that are going.

5. Prerequisites MUST be completed BEFORE the Merit Badge Academy on May 7th.

6. You can find a list of requirements, and some Merit Badge Worksheets at http://meritbadge.org, but if you want the actual Merit Badge booklet, you will need to obtain that as they are generally not available online. The Troop has some booklets in our library, and if we have one you need, we can check it out to you.
