We will be supporting Trinity Sportsman Ministries by working certain stations at their upcoming Skeet Shoot event on Saturday, April 9th. The event will be held at Fishhawk Sporting Clays (MAP) at 13505 Hobson Simmons Rd, Lithia, FL 33547.
Class A Uniform and Long Pants should be worn. Neckerchiefs and Sashes are not needed, just the Class A shirt and long pants. Expect to be at the event from around 8:00am until around 1:00pm. We expect that there will be lunch available to the Scouts and families that come out to support, once the event attendees finish eating.
If you would like to take advantage of it, we will have a carpool departing from and returning to Cork UMC. Please be at the church at 7:00am on Saturday, and we will return at approximately 2:00pm. However, you are welcome to go directly to Fishhawk Sporting Clays, just please be there by 8:00am.
We will need 20+ folks (Scouts, Family Members, Adults) over the age of 12 to help. If we have any younger Scouts or Family Members that want to come out and help, we can find other areas they can be of assistance too, but we need 20+ that are over the age of 12.
If you would like to, or plan to attend and help the Troop with this Fundraiser, that doubles as Service Hours, please contact SM Bazley or Mr. Alderman as soon as possible, and let us know if you are “certain” to be there, or are interesting and hoping or planning to be there, but don’t want us to consider you confirmed as of yet.
