Scout Sunday is February 7, 2016 – we ask that you attend your own church in uniform on February 7th.
We will celebrating Scout Sunday at Cork United Methodist Church on the following weekend, February 14th. Please come to Cork UMC to attend the 10:30am Service on the 14th, in Uniform, and stay after for a catered lunch with the congregation.
The Church would like all Scouts that plan to attend Scout Sunday at Cork UMC on the 14th to meet at 7:00pm on Monday, February 8th (middle of Den meetings, before the Troop meeting) with the Scout Leaders to prepare and practice a joint Flag Ceremony, including Youth from all of Cork UMC’s programs (Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, American Heritage Girls, Youth Group).
Please, plan to attend both the practice at 7:00pm on February 8th, and Scout Sunday at Cork UMC at 10:30am on the 14th, and stay for the fellowship meal that will follow.
