Sporting Clays Fundraiser – February 15
We will be assisting the Trinity Sportsman Ministries with their annual Sporting Clays Fundraiser on Saturday, February 15th. We need 16 – 20 people to assist with this event. The Troop will be given a percentage of the event proceeds for our help in putting on the event. They would prefer Scouts 13 and older
Eagle Project Workday – Saturday

Summer Camp Information
Hey Everyone, This is just a friendly reminder that summer camp registration is here and along with that comes the summer camp deposit. This year, the boys are going to Camp Ottari at the Blue Ridge Mountain Council in Roanoke, VA from June 14 thru June 21. Troop 14 has been going to this camp

We will be having BOTH an Eagle Project Workday (8:00am at Cork UMC, until after lunch) AND a Troop Meeting @ 7:30pm where the Scouts will be working on their second class related to the Cooking Merit Badge. PLC will begin at 6:30pm as well.
Eagle Project – Fundraising and Work Day
Related to Jack’s Eagle Project, please be aware of the upcoming work day on Monday (January 20th – NO SCHOOL) from 8:00am until whenever at Cork United Methodist Church. Please bring hammers, saws, water bottles (hard plastic nalgenes), crow bars, and gardening gloves. Summer Camp – Important Dates
Summer Camp 2014 will be June 15th to June 21st. That means that we will depart from Plant City on Friday, June 13th, spend the night at a Scout Camp or other suitable location along the way on Saturday night, and then arrive at Camp Ottari on Sunday, June 15th. Summer camp itself is Sunday

Troop Camp Out – This Weekend
For the Camp Out this weekend (January 10, 11, 12), the Scouts will be fishing, so if they have fishing gear they should bring it (and an extra if they have it, for someone that may not). We will meet at 6:00pm at Cork UMC on Friday, January 10th for departure. We will be camping
Welcome our Troops Home! – Volunteers Needed
On Sunday the 5th of January at 1pm 300 of our finest soldiers will be coming HOME! We need volunteers to make this reception the best it can be. Troop Meeting – January 6th – Cork UMC
Our next Troop Meeting will be Monday, January 6th at Cork United Methodist Church. Cork UMC is located across the field from Bethany, on Sam Allen Road (4815 W Sam Allen Rd Plant City, FL 33565). PLC will be meeting at 6:30pm and the Troop Meeting will begin at 7:30pm.
