Hi All – Welcome back!
Our first Troop Meeting will be Monday, January 11th, at 7:30pm as usual. We will also hold a Parent Meeting in the Church sanctuary beginning at 7:45pm, once the Scouts complete their opening ceremonies, in which we’ll lay out some of the changes for 2016 and needs for adult involvement to help us put this program on for our Scouts.
There will be a PLC meeting on Monday, January 4th starting at 7:00pm at Cork UMC, but only those Scouts that are part of the PLC need to attend (Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Quartermaster, and the two Patrol Leaders).
There will be a Committee Meeting on Sunday, January 10th at 4:00pm at Cork UMC. Going forward, Committee Meetings will take place on the 2nd Sunday of each month, at 4:00pm at Cork UMC.
The Troop will be focused on Personal Fitness for the beginning part of 2016, including covering advancement requirements and Merit Badge requirements (this is an Eagle-required Merit Badge). The Troop will be seeking adults to assist with certain presentation and training for certain of the requirements.
